At present we currently service children three times a week through our after school activities listed in our calendar page. we encourage you to call us and register your child to these classes, they are open to the everyone in our community. |

True Beauty Fashion show at University Mall Tampa, FL January 2008
Saturday, January 12th, It's All About Kids held its' first fashion show at the University Mall. Many of the local business supported out event and Old Navy provided the clothing for the children. We want to give a special thanks to the University Mall for providing retail space for the function. Etiquette & Manners at Donatello's restaurant 2007
In August we completed an eight week Etiquette & Manners class with a dinner at Donatello's in Tampa. The children were dressed to impress and the restaurant treated then like princes and princesses. Buzz at the UACDC Back to School event 2007
Every year the University Area Community Development Corporation holds an annual health fair and back to school event. This year they invited Buzz to be a part of the festivities. We held story time sessions for the children and gave away free books and school supplies to the children that attended.
IAAK'S First Annual Fundraising Banquet May 18th, 2007
IAAK held its' first fundraising banquet in May. Many of the local community leaders attended. Awards were given to tour top sponsors and partners.
Buzz at Lowry park April 21st, 2007
Buzz was invited to make an appearance at Lowry park. He gave out free books, there were story time sessions for children, children got to spin the Buzz wheel for prizes and candy!
Father's Day Card Art & Crafts, June 10th, 2007 With father's day arriving we asked the children to create father's day cards for their father's. Many have dad's in jail or are missing from the home. Some wrote cards for their mother's instead. The 2007 World's Largest S'mores Party Iaak held a party consisting of marshmallow dipping of a great big Hershey bar melted down. This was a reward to all the children who attended the Summer Story time program. S'mores is a term the children created that stands for "some more" chocolate and marshmallows. Etiquette Class 2006
IAAK held Etiquette and Manner's classes during the 2005 - 2006 school year at Copeland Park in Tampa under a partnered initiative between DJJ, THA and IAAK. We will be initiating similar programs at the Copeland Recreation Center during the 2006 - 2007 school year. Etiquette Classes 2005
IAAK performed several Etiquette Classes throughout Tampa. Thanks to the partnership efforts with DJJ and the Tampa Housing Authority we were able to hold classes right in the complexes where the children reside. This gave us larger attendance per class and more outreach opportunities.
Buzz at High Point Elementary Clearwater, FL and Sulfur Spring Elementary
During the Great American Teach-in Buzz toured High Point Elementary School in Clearwater and encouraged children to read, get good grades and stay in school. We gave free school supplies to the children.
That same day we visited Sulfur Spring Elementary in Tampa were we packed out a room full of children and shared the same message. We even had help with their cheerleaders who performed a step routine for us.
IAAK'S Harvest Festival 2005
Over 300 families came out to celebrate Fall with us. We hosted a fun filled day of games, music, prizes, face painting, Sponge Bob Moon Walk, and more. Buzz was featured with a new skit and dance.
AJ Blues, a 16 year old artist gave us an electrifying performance with his guitar. We included a Barbeque lunch for all who attended.

Grandparents as Caregivers Support Group 2005
IAAK has partnered with the USF Florida Kinship Program to provide a support group for grandparents who take care of their grandchildren. They meet every Tuesday morning and provide grandparents with a support and assistance in addition to a warm delicious lunch.
Back to School Bash 2005 was a great success!
Thanks to all our sponsors and volunteers we were able to distribute 100 goodie bags and books bags filled with school supplies to needy families. We had our bash at the Asbury at University apartment complex on August 20th this year and the residents enjoyed Buzz into Books, goodie bags, 12 free bicycle raffles, free brownies, and free balloons. Thanks to all In an effort to bring quality services to the University Area, IAAK held a partnership meeting at the Asbury at University Apartment Complex. There were many services providers that attended and agreed to partner in providing services for these residents. IAAK brings smiles to local needy children during Christmas 2004 IAAK gave out presents and books at a Children's Christmas Program in the Sulfur Springs area of Tampa, FL Hundred's of children turned out to see the show and receive the much need gifts and Books. Food was also distributed to needy families. Buzz kicks off his Literacy Campaign in spite of the Hurricanes September 2004 Despite all the hurricanes that Florida received last year Buzz was able to hold his Fall Literacy Campaign with an attendance of 500 local residents who received books, school supplies, and entertainment from local artist and step teams. IAAK Partner's with DJJ and THA to provide Etiquette Classes at local community center's September 2004 A beautiful partnership between the Department of Juvenile Justice, The Tampa Housing Authority and IAAK enabled youth to receive free etiquette classes during the 2004 -2005 school year. This youth prevention mentoring program covered topics ranging from hygiene and health to manner's and attire. Tampa Bay Lightning brings out the Inflatable Games for local North Tampa Children March 2004 On Sunday March 21st 2004 The Tampa Bay Lightning brought out their Inflatable and Hockey games for a fun filled day for North Tampa Children. IAAK sponsored the event as a way to encourage sports activities for children and youth. IAAK Gives Brass Classes for Sulfur Spring children January 2004

IAAK Teaches inner-city youth Etiquette and manners at a local youth conference September 2003
IAAK Teaches Manner's & Etiquette to local inner-city youth. This weekend event was followed by a ceremonial banquette in which the students were able to show their talents and display everything they learned through a series of processions, speeches and performances.

Buzz goes to House of Hope May 2003
Buzz visits the Tampa Police Department's "House of Hope" which is an inn-city children and youth program that provides after school programs. Every child received free books and Buzz promoted reading and staying in school.
Princess Club holds their first Breakfast Award Ceremony May 2003

It was a morning of great pomp and circumstance as the Princess graduates marched into the breakfast hall to receive their awards and certificates. They also honored their mothers and important role models that have impacted their lives.
Buzz Partner's with the Women of Zion
Buzz partnered with Evangelist Pauline Cole and the Women of Zion to promote literacy and give out free books to academically challenged children. Many families were from low income neighborhoods and were grateful for the free books.

After months of planning, IAAK launched "The Princess Club". It has been a success since its first day. We have over 17 girls enrolled in our 9 month mentoring program and we just held our first Mother/Daughter breakfast May 10th. If you didn't make it, it's okay because we will be hosting a Father/Daughter breakfast on Saturday, June 7th, 2003. This last breakfast brought a bonding between mother and daughter and we who this will be the same for the Fathers.
Buzz into Books January 2003 Literacy Campaign Click the picture for photo Gallery It's All About Kids kicked off 2003 with the Buzz into Books Literacy Campaign. Buzz, our mascot, made several appearances around the Tampa Bay area giving out free books to boys and girls and telling them how important it is to read. We distributed over 500 books to neighborhood children. Robles Park Learning Lab October 2002

IAAK sponsored a Community Learning Lab with the residence of Robles Park. We provided computers, books, shelves, curriculum, learning tools, games and training to local residents and their children.
Carefest 2002 Somebody Cares Tampa Bay
Click the picture for photo Gallery On September 28th It's All about Kids joined forces with Somebody Cares Tampa Bay to clean up and repair 8 homes in the Sulfur Springs Park area of Tampa. Waste Management, Tampa Parks and Recreations, Tampa Police and NEAT lent a hand to provide the necessary tool to plant bushes, clean streets, repair several homes in the area and demonstrate kindness to those in the community. There was music provided by Son's of Thunder and all the workers had Barbeque chicken, baked beans and Hot dogs after all the work was done. Children assisted in the clean up as well. This annual event gets better every year because more people are catching on to the idea that helping others can be both beneficial and rewarding. Educational Awareness Back to School Festival 2002

On September 24th we held our first annual Back to School Festival in Gidden's Park in the Belmont/Jackson Heights section of Tampa. With the partnership of the Tampa Police dept and the Dept of Parks and Recreations we hosted a festival that was second to none. With over 30 community service providers helping us, we were able to distribute over 1,000 goodie bags to children filled with school supplies, over 1,000 bags of groceries to needy families and raffled off 2 student computers. We had over 600 children and families who actually registered for the event. Moonwalks, cotton candy and Italian Ices awaited the children while other found an enjoyable challenge building bird houses at the Home Depot tent where everyone went home with an apron. Chief Benny Holder of the Tampa Police Dept appeared and gave a speech as well as Norman Campbell from Dept of Juvenile Justice. Charlie Miranda and Brenda White from the city county commissions office dropped by to say hello. Bob Buckhorn also came by as well. The folks danced to a live Latin band and a Hip Hop DJ. Children were happy and so where the parents who went home with hands filled with food, school supplies, prizes and educational resources.
IAAK takes inner-city children to the Tampa Bay Storm game August 2002
On July 6th, 2002, IAAK finds a sponsor for several inner-city children to attend the Tampa Bay Storm Game at the Ice Palace. Corporate Sponsors provided a suite and lunch for the children. Family Enrichment Community Fair 2002 Click the picture for photo Gallery On February 16th of this year we held our first event. This was to commemorate the launching of our first after school programs at The headquarters of the National Community Development Corp. (also known as Abundant Life International Church). We gathered together over 10 local community service providers and opened the gates to the parking lot for the community. We gave out bags of food and clothing to those who came by. Lens Crafter offered free eye screenings to children and a nurse was present to provide free check up's to the children and the elderly. The Tampa Police dept. gave demonstrations from the K-9 unit and officers were at hand to hand out goodie bags to the children. We had over 300 local residents that attended.
