Founded by Larry and Wanda DeLaRosa, It's All About Kids was birthed by a burning desire to help children that have the unfortunate circumstances of being exposed to socially and economically and spiritually depressed environments.

The children have been, and continue to be, the most underrepresented population in today's society. As children, they are, at times, unable to express their needs. The children therefore depend on parents, guardians and leaders to speak on their behalf and voice their needs. The Mental, economic and social condition of their guardian or caregivers determine the quality of life they may experience as they grow. We feel that it is our duty to join the fight to stop the cycle of child abuse and neglect and help established social answers to pressures that are affecting the children today. Our initiative programs reflect this focus point. Servicing a child during a crisis will help them only until the next crisis, mentoring them will help them develop a wholesome character provided that there is not a negative force in their home environment that is steering them in the wrong direction. That is why we go all the way to the root of the problem, their home life.  The pressures families have today are what causes the development of a child to suffer. Divorce, single parent homes, economic pressures, moral deterioration, neglect of medical needs all contribute a child's failure to thrive. 

Our mentors are trained professionals, many of which are currently employed in the areas of Social Work, Law Enforcement and Education. These volunteers dedicate countless hours mentoring, tutoring and counseling at-risk-youth in the hopes of making of difference in their young lives. The children are provided with the tools and resources to explore their potential and develop talents. Every structure is built on a solid foundation. It's All About Kid's our mentoring program and events help to lay this foundation on which a bright futures can be constructed.

Our Vision

Children are today’s seeds for tomorrow’s harvest.  Our focus is to train up and develop children and their families from the inside out, so that when they grow older, they will flourish and prosper using modern method's and techniques that will produce optimal results.
