LEARNING LAB
The
Buzz Learning Lab offers children the opportunity
to refine reading and study skills, brush up
on homework, practice writing skills, and read
and listen to books through an audio book series.
The lab also offers computer workstations with
educational games that children can play while
learning basic computer skills.
The Buzz Learning Lab provides a boost for
children who need that little bit of extra
help. Kids of all ages respond to its
positive and encouraging environment, and to
program incentives designed to maintain children’s
interest in reading and school.
It’s All About Kids operates the
Buzz Learning Lab at its Carlisle Lakes location,
and is planning expansion to other Central
Florida sites.

Instructor Profile: Erika
Erika grew up in Washington, D.C. and Costa
Rica. With a family history of community service,
it was inevitable that she would seek volunteer
roles that would help her give back to her community.
Erika is a voracious reader and is currently
working toward a Masters Degree in Library Sciences.
She currently heads the Buzz Into Books Learning
Lab where she teaches arts and crafts, moderates
story time and helps children with their homework.
Erika promotes the good study habits she developed
over the years and readily passes on her passion
for reading. She’s been a great success at It’s
All About Kids and is committed to continuing
her volunteer efforts.
