TRAINING CLINICS
It’s
All About Kids offers parent workshops
and reading parties to help caregivers improve
their home learning environments. Topics
include suggestions for minor changes that
can make a big difference in a child’s academic
advancement. Families learn tips for creating
comfortable, quiet study areas in busy homes,
and also discuss how to communicate with
children about school and reading in a way
that will encourage their success.
Reading Parties bring the program into participants’
homes for real-world applications of the methods
presented in the clinics. Parents learn how
to encourage reading and choose appropriate
books, and discuss curriculums designed to
help children navigate the world of learning.
Reading Party dates and times are posted on
this site as they are scheduled.
Parents can also take part in the It’s
All About Kids’ Parent Association (IPA).
This group meets monthly to discuss topics
of importance to families and children. Participating
is a great way to invest in your child’s
future.
